Merry Christmas! (with Christmas Robot Dances)
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone!
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all the visitors to the Roboethics Info Database (aka. tin can thoughts).
Since May 25th, 2008 (the day I made my first post) this blog has led me to connect with so many people in the field of roboethics.
Now, Google tells me that over 80 people visit the Roboethics Info Database regularly, and they come from 10 different countries covering four different continents: North America, South America, Europe, and Asia. And I feel so privileged to have such a large audience in the small community of roboethics.
It has certainly been a lot of fun exchanging information with Moral Machines, getting emails about the newest books that came out, sharing the latest news in the field via Facebook and Twitter – both of which are linked to this blog, and discussing different roboethics topics with people from different parts of the world!
I hope above numbers are an indication that you find this blog useful, and I hope it will continue to be a useful roboethics information access point to all the roboethicists around the world.
Embedded below is Christmas robot dance performance by a team of Huno robots (built by RoboBuilder). Although filmed for a Korean show in Korean, the first few minutes show the Christmas dances – which I think is quite cute. I hope you enjoy them.
With warmest wishes,
AJung
